This is great for helping oxidize those free radicals. Let me explain. Mitochondria is where energy is created. Sugar goes in and ATP (fancy word for energy) is produced. This is a huge chemical reaction, named Krebs’s cycle. The Krebs’s cycle alone is a whole college class, so you’ll have to google that one yourself. Often during the conversion of sugar to energy, little electrons are left behind. As a result, these loose electrons are called free radicals. Free radicals bog down the cell.
