Large Ice Pack
Have you wanted one of the large ice pack we use here? These are large so as Dr Hulsebus would say- ” You do not need good aim the get the right spot”.
These are the exact same ice packs we use here on patients. They stay cold and flexible. The flexibility allows them to wrap the area.
Remember most of the time your muscles are tight because of inflammation. First the joints get inflamed from moving wrong. Second the body goes into protective mode. Third the muscle lock up to prevent you from increasing the injury. Lastly you tell me “i think it is just muscular”. Icing inflammation is usually the best way to remove the inflammation.
We always prefer ice packs over anything else. There are over the counter products that deal with inflammation. However they do not work as well as an ice pack. The only know side effect with ice packs is frost bite. This is why you only keep it on for twenty minutes.
These packs stay cold for the twenty minutes you use it and refreeze usually within 40 minutes.
If needed we have some already frozen if you need it now.
