As chiropractors, our main job is to adjust the spine, which helps your nerves work better. When your spine isn’t aligned, it causes stress, making your body feel like it’s in danger. We adjust the spine to relieve this stress and improve your health.

History

Long ago, people got better faster. My grandfather, also a chiropractor, helped patients quickly. But today, it takes longer due to something we’re missing: omega 3s, which are vital nutrients that keep our nerves healthy. Unfortunately, modern diets don’t provide as many omega 3s because the animals we eat aren’t raised naturally.

Quality of Food

You might wonder why you can’t get omega 3s from other sources. Some people try flaxseed oil, but it doesn’t have all the essential nutrients. Fish oil, like cod liver oil, is a better choice because it comes from fish that eat algae, a rich source of these nutrients. Small fish like sardines are great too.

Picking the Correct One

When choosing fish oil, make sure it doesn’t smell bad. If it does, the quality isn’t good. Good fish oil shouldn’t dissolve Styrofoam, either. For better taste, keep it in the fridge. I recommend taking about two tablespoons a day.

Inflammation

While doctors might say fish oil doesn’t affect cholesterol or heart health, I believe it’s great for reducing inflammation in your nervous system. This can help with autoimmune issues.
