3 Things When Looking for a Chiropractor
When looking for a chiropractor there are a few things to look for. Many people have thought about starting chiropractic care but not sure where to start. Dr Hulsebus tells us 3 things when looking for a chiropractor, We will review these things and explain why things are different.
First thing
Look at the services the chiropractor does. Some chiropractors do physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, and other service beyond chiropractic care. Other chiropractors focus just on chiropractic care. If you have tried many different things and now want to try chiropractic you should take note of which chiropractor you are going to. Guessing you have already tried physical therapy and other services, and now you want to try chiropractic. If this is the case I would go to someone who only focusses on being the chiropractor,
Next thing
Are you thinking about using your insurance? Many chiropractors today run straight cash chiropractic practices. Meaning no insurance. work at all. Others will have you pay upfront then give you paperwork so you can submit it yourself. Lastly there are chiropractors who fully use insurance, these chiropractors will bill and handle the insurance work for you. The risk you run when you submit yourself is that the chiropractic meant the requirements for the insurance company,
Last thing
Will the chiropractor put you on a care plan? Some clinics today you just walk I and pay for a visit. There is no schedule or exam/x-ray. You walk in when you feel you want to be seen. Other chiropractors will do an exam and maybe x-rays. After the examination you will receive a care plan with number of visits and frequency. There will be reassessments with home care.
