Immune Research

Chiropractic care has been highlighted in some immune research.  I have been told that I should say chiropractic does not have a role on the immune system.  During COVID any chiropractor how made these claims were punished by the United Staes of America government. With that I am making it known that I am just sharing research and not saying chiropractic care affects immune response.  However, the research disagrees.

Antibody

A recent paper from

Chiropr Osteopat. 2010 ;18:26. Epub 2010 Sep 8. PMID: 20825650, Julita A Teodorczyk-Injeyan, Marion McGregor, Richard Ruegg, H Stephen Injeyan

noted two things with the immune system. First was after spinal manipulation there is a temporarily augmented of antibodies via interleukin-2.  Resulting in, after care they were able to notice a rise in antibodies production.  Secondly, the thing found in the study shows this happens in a burst.  Results, were significant higher white blood cells in the first fifteen minutes after chiropractic care to the middle back.

Allergies/ Dermatitis/ Atopic Disease

Takeda & S. Arai: Relationship Between Vertebral Deformities And Allergic Diseases. The Internet Journal of Orthopedic Surgery. 2004 Volume 2 Number 1

This study looked at things in reverse.  First, it was noted that people who already suffered with atopic dermatitis and asthma has vertebral misalignments. Rather than looking for people with misalignments then seeing if they deal with these things, the did the opposite.  So a study of people who are diagnosed have this misalignment.  Secondly, These people then received chiropractic care.  The result of the care was 72-88% improvement. To conclude, those people who suffer were found to have a need for chiropractic care.  Then after the care, those same people reported he improvement.

Many Older Reports

In the above video Dr Hulsebus tells about more.  Some of these reports are old.  Take a minute and watch the video.  First, chiropractors are not claiming to help the immune system.  Second, research has shown improve immune response.  Third, the research is over decades old.  Because of this, is it possible to say immune function and chiropractic relate?  To conclude, We have submitted to you the research and you can make up your mind.  Finally, we official say that the immune function and chiropractic are not related.  However, the research and us do not agree.
