What are the education requirements to become a Chiropractor?  We spend as much time, if not more, as family medical doctors in school.  Our education requirements vary state to state, but I will focus on Illinois.  Most Chiropractors will start the education program with a  Bachelors degree before earning the Doctorate.  At Palmer College the Doctorate program is 10 trimesters long.  Each Trimesters is about 30 hours.  Because the trimesters are 30 hours, it is the same as a 5 year program but we finish a little over three years.
