How old do you need to be?
How old do you need to be to start Chiropractic care? That is the “Ask the Chiropractor” question of the week. Dr. Hulsebus tells us about his youngest patient, his daughter Caroline, today on her birthday. Caroline was under ten minutes old the first time she has checked for subluxation. Because Dr. Hulsebus was in the room for her birth he was able to check her after the doctors ran their test. If you have questions about your child receiving chiropractic care just ask the chiropractor. Remember because only chiropractors have studied chiropractic and can answer such a question.
Youngest
Dr Hulsebus youngest patient of all time is his daughter. She was 5 minutes old when he checked her. This is his second born. Your first born every parent is nervous so he waited about 30 minutes. Their last pregnancy was twins and they came early. The pregnancy was easy one, and he was there to check her right away.
One Day Old
Dr Hulsebus himself was one day old when he was checked. His father Dr Mike Hulsebus was still in Chiropractic School. Dr Mike was not at the stage in his education to check a new born. Then his Professor, Dr Strang was the chiropractor who check Dr Brant when he was one day old. Professor Dr Strang would later become Dr Brant’s professor as well. Dr Mike was checked on his first day of life by his father Dr Bob Hulsebus. So if tradition continues Dr Brant knows which daughter will be the Chiropractor.
